Dear Friends,

We have been so excited about the upcoming Celebration of Fr David Knight: Remembering and Following a Life Immersed in Christ, originally scheduled for September 4, 2021 in Memphis.

Unfortunately, the Board of Immersed in Christ has made the difficult decision to postpone the event due to rising numbers of Covid cases in Memphis and throughout the country. Rest assured we plan to reschedule this event as soon as possible. We are disappointed that we will not be able to come together on the Anniversary weekend of Father David’s ordination, but we do ask that you take some time on September 2, the date on which he was ordained in Lyon France, to pray for the repose of his soul.

I would like for you to know that Immersed in Christ was personally launched as a non-profit organization by Father Knight in 2014 so that after his death, we would have a mechanism in place to continue to study, teach, and live the 5 Promises of our Baptismal call. Father Knight’s many friends throughout the world, and The Board of Immersed in Christ, are committed to keeping Father Knight’s writings and recordings available for future generations so that they can use those teachings to live their Christian lives to the full!

We already have numerous projects currently in the works, including:

  • Exhibiting at the Oct 8-9 2021 Eucharistic Congress in Memphis TN

  • Selling Father Knight’s works at and on Amazon -- see author page at

  • Publishing the new work Conscience Examination (Twenty-Third Publications, late 2021)

  • Publishing the new work, A Fresh Look at the Our Father (Twenty-Third Publications, Feb 2022)

  • Publishing Alcanzando a Jesus, the Spanish edition of the newly revised English edition of Reaching Jesus (Immersed in Christ Publications, September 2021)

  • Re-publishing His Way, which Father Knight revised in 2020 (Immersed in Christ Publications -- date to be determined)

  • Translating and publishing His Way in Spanish for the first time (Immersed in Christ Publications -- date to be determined)

  • Modernizing Immersed in Christ’s website, email, and social media platforms

  • Maintaining a weekly blog post (possibly resuming the daily post in Advent and beyond)

  • Supporting groups of disciples who seek to study Father Knight’s teachings and take actions as a consequence of their studies

  • And more to come!

I hope you are pleased to know that the ministry started by Father David Knight continues with gusto! And, I pray that you are willing to help support the ministry with prayers, donations (click here or use the Donate button on the website), and volunteerism.

The Immersed in Christ Board looks forward to posting a new date for the Celebration of Fr David Knight: Remembering and Following a Life Immersed in Christ.

In the meantime, stay in touch by checking the website, subscribing to the Blog posts, following Immersed in Christ on Facebook, and by email at . Let us know if you need any resources and how we can support you as you continue to live With, In, and Through Christ!

In His Love,
