A Helpful Reminder

The Eucharist reminds us that we get up every morning to let Jesus do something divine – with us, in us, and through us – in everything we do that day.

A good way to keep ourselves conscious of this is to start saying the “WIT prayer” all day long:

Lord, I give you my body.

Live this day with me,

live this day in me,

live this day through me.

W-ith, I-n, T-hrough: WIT. Say it as soon as you wake up, before you even open your eyes. All day, before everything you do, keep repeating, “Lord, do this with me, do this in me, do this through me”. To say this prayer all day long will make you aware, make you conscious, that you are sharing in the divine life of God.

To be aware of who you are through your divine relationship with Jesus Christ is a mystical experience. Take it out with you from Mass, and live a life that is real.
