We have developed a system to provide daily support to people who are trying to grow in their spiritual life. We offer these to everybody, but especially to those who have used this program. The feedback has been excellent and we are continuing to expand on this idea. It is our goal for spirituality to become the core of every Christian's life. The materials are distributed in both electronic and hardcopy formats. The information packet includes samples of each. The materials described here are published five times a year and focus on one step at a time: Advent/
Christmas - Christian Reflections: These are one page articles based on the Lectionary Readings fro everyday of the season. They include some questions for deeper reflection. The articles tie the readings to the step we are focusing on for that season. The goal is to get people to read and pray over scripture and use it to deepen their spiritual lives. The Reflection booklet shown here is for the current season: Lent. Click here to see it. Surfing on the Seasons: This is a prayer book. A kind of breviary for lay people. It includes formats for moring prayer, prayer throughout the day, noon prayer, evening prayer, and night prayer. It encourages seasonal symbols, participation in liturgical events, and scripture reading. The goal is to encourage people to pray frequently during the day. The Surfing on the Season booklet shown here is for the current season: Lent. Click here to see it. Newsletter: Each newsletter contains a brief explanation of the step, a method of prayer, some suggestions fro living it individually and as a family and a little bit of news about what we are doing to promote this program. We want people to feel like they are part of a community dedicated to living a spiritual life. The Newsletter shown here is for Lent. Click here to see it.
